How do I attract talent against ongoing skills shortages?

Helping the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority engage the UK’s top talent

Our long-standing client, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, approached us with a unique recruitment challenge that required a tailored end-to-end solution. Vital to the success of the UK’s nuclear decommissioning programme, we needed to develop an approach that would engage the UK’s top and often hard-to-find talent

By understanding the specific needs of our client and the market, we created an account team of dedicated onsite and offsite recruiters capable of working as extension of the NDA. Our flexible approach used a combination of offline channels, social media, networking, events and job fairs, and a nuclear-specific job site to promote our client’s technical and specialist opportunities. From delivering c. 1500 highly skilled professional contractors across some of the UK’s most remote locations, we provided highly skilled individuals across a diverse range of technical specifications.

Our achievements with the NDA estate have been recognised by Capita’s continuing success in being re-awarded the contract following competitive procurement processes, and an industry award for the ‘Best Embedded Recruitment Team’.
